Voice output communication device that allows the student to communicate
a message by touching one of eight 2" colored squares. Depending on the

To record and play back
messages:
1. Turn on the Cheap Talk 8 and adjust the volume control-knob
on back panel.
2. Press and hold the “RECORD” button.
3. Press one of the 8 colored squares and speak into the
microphone.
4. Release both buttons when recording is complete.
5. To play back the message, press and release the square used
to record the message.

has 8 jacks that correspond to the colored squares. By plugging external
switches into these jacks, the corresponding button will be selected when an
external switch is depressed.

Level Communicator: This device has 8 colored squares but also has 6
different levels that you can be prerecord with a total of 8 different
messages on each level. To access a different level, simply select that
level by turning the knob on the bottom of the device. Allows you to record
approximately 5 seconds per colored square per level (48 messages in all),
240 seconds total.
